Box Score

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – A goal in the 83rd minute helped Arcadia University spoil the Lycoming College men’s soccer team’s Commonwealth Conference opener, as the Knights took a 1-0 decision from the Warriors on Saturday at the Shangraw Athletic Complex.

Joe Bagnali received a give from Joe Clementi and fired a shot into the lower right corner with just 7:45 left on the clock to secure the win.

The Knights (5-5 overall, 1-0 Commonwealth) outshot the Warriors (5-6 overall, 0-1 Commonwealth), 15-3, in the game, as sophomore James Quinn (Tonawanda, N.Y./Kenmore East) did a stellar job for the Warriors, stopping eight shots to keep Lycoming in the game.

Ryan Lantzy made one save to record the shutout for the Knights.

The Warriors will get back on the field on Tuesday when they face Lancaster Bible College in non-conference action at the Shangraw Athletic Complex. Kick-off is set for 4 p.m.
