WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. --- Freshman Jimmy Deasel and sophomore Randon Wilston were a dynamic duo in Lycoming College’s 5-0 victory over Waynesburg College on Saturday, Sept. 19. Deasel scored two goals, both of which were assisted by Wilston.

Lycoming is now 6-1 on the year, riding a four game win streak, while Waynesburg falls to 1-8.

Deasel (Kingsville, Md./Loyola Blakefield) scored both of Lycoming’s first-half goals, both crediting Wilston (Mainesburg, Pa./Mansfield) with the assists in the seventh minute and again in the 34th. Senior forward Chris Lorenzet opened the second half in the 54th minute, finishing a pass from fellow senior Zach Frederick (West Chester, Pa./St. Marks).

Frederick scored Lycoming’s fourth goal of the day in the 63rd minute, with Lorenzet (Forest Hills, Md./C. Milton Wright). Lorenzet wrapped up the scoring for the day with an unassisted goal in the 73rd minute. He was the leader in shots for the day, taking nine of Lycoming’s 25 total shots.

In the goal, Senior David Bald (Edgewater, Md./South River) was forced to make just one stop.

Lycoming continues its home stand on Tuesday, Sept. 22 when the Warriors of the Eagles of Juniata College. The match will start at 4:30 at the Robert L. Shangraw Athletic Complex.
