Women's soccer drops 1-0 decision to Arcadia

GLENSIDE, Pa.
--- Depsite placing all five of its shots on goal, the Lycoming College women’s soccer team could not find the back of the net, falling 1-0 to undefeated Arcadia University on Saturday, Oct. 10.
 
The loss drops Lycoming to 6-7-1 overall and 0-2 in the Commonwealth Conference. Arcadia improves to 10-0-3 on the season and 2-0 in league.
 
Sophomore netminder Chelsea Powers (Dover, Pa./Dover) kept the Warriors in the game, making nine saves while facing 20 shots by Arcadia.
 
Kati Shaner (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville) led Lycoming on offense, taking two shots while sophomore Kelly Prendergast (Edison, N.J./Rutgers Preparatory), senior Kaitlin Horn (Ringtown, Pa./North Schuylkill) and freshman Leslie Kester (Lititz, Pa./Manheim Township) all took one shot.
 
Lycoming is at home for its next game on Wednesday, Oct. 14 when the Warriors host Elizabethtown College for a 4 p.m. start.
