GRANTHAM, Pa. – The No. 2 ranked Messiah women’s soccer team scored nine second-half goals en route to a 12-0 win against the Lady Warriors on Saturday, Oct. 18, in Commonwealth Conference action.
The Falcons (14-0-2, 3-0-0 Commonwealth) held possession for nearly the entire game, outshooting Lycoming 43-1 in the match, including 20-0 in shots on goal.
Brie Pepe (Lafayette, N.J.) recorded five saves in 53:00 minutes played, while Chelsea Powers (Dover, Pa.) recorded two saves in 37 minutes.
With the loss, Lycoming drops to 4-6-3 overall and 1-2-1 in the Commonwealth Conference.
The Lady Warriors will travel to Baptist Bible on Thursday, Oct. 23, for a 3 p.m. kickoff.
