In his third year with the Warriors, Sainclair Tueno developed into one of the top defenders in the country for a team that reached rankings as high as fourth in the country during a 19-3 season, earning him the Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year award. A Second Team United Soccer Coaches and D3soccer.com All-American, Tueno was at the heart of a team that won a MAC Commonwealth title and reached the second round of the NCAA Division III Championship. A First Team United Soccer Coaches All-Mid-Atlantic Region and First Team All-MAC Commonwealth selection, Tueno  started 21 games as a center back, yet still led the team with 11 goals scored and 22 points. He scored two goals against 13th-ranked Scranton, Misericordia and Hood. At one point, the 6-2 defender scored a goal in five straight games, including three straight playoff wins over Lebanon Valley in the MAC Commonwealth semifinals, third-ranked Messiah in the MAC Commonwealth Championship and Lehman in the opening round of the NCAA Championship. He was named the MAC Commonwealth Championship MVP and took home  three MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week honors. Heading into his senior year, Tueno's 17 career goals are just outside the top-25 in program history and his six career game-winning goals are tied for eighth in program history.

The criminal justice major is the third Warrior to earn the award and the first to do so since Pat Doody in 1995.
