Brooke Strausser is the first repeat winner of the Most Outstanding Female Athlete award since varsity women’s sports were introduced at the College in 1971. She joined Sharon Hense (1969-70) and Carol Miller (1966, 1968) as the only two-time winners of the award in school history. She is the second women’s lacrosse player to win the award. A three-time all-conference honoree, Strausser leads the Warriors nearly across the board in statistical categories, as she has 29 goals, 31 points, nine free-position goals, 44 ground balls, 63 draw controls and 16 caused turnovers this season. The all-time leader in draw controls, Strausser is also one of eight players in school history with 125 career goals. She is also in the top 10 in school history in career shots attempted (325), caused turnovers (63), ground balls (150), games started (55), points (142) and games played (62).
