ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lycoming College freshman guard Ihsaan Davis has been named the Commonwealth Conference’s Player of the Week for Dec. 21, as announced by the Middle Atlantic Conferences. He was also selected Lycoming College’s Warrior of the Week.

Davis (Jamaica, N.Y./Christ the King Regional) helped the Warriors defeat Dickinson College 89-74 on Sunday, Dec. 20. In the contest, he posted a career-high 21 points, going seven-of-nine from the field, including four-of-five from beyond the arc. He also tallied six rebounds and two assists.

Lycoming, which is 8-2 overall, plays its final game of 2009 at Shenandoah University on Wednesday, Dec. 30. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Lycoming’s sports information office will announce a Warrior of the Week through the 2009-10 academic year. The athletes will be featured on the homepage of the athletics Web site at athletics.lycoming.edu.
