After reaching the semifinals at the ITA Southeast Regionals in the B2 singles flight, senior Jason Mifsud has earned his fourth career Warrior of the Week award. Mifsud started his run with an 8-6 win over Carnegie Mellon’s Paul Okuda before posting an 8-4 win over Virginia Wesleyan’s Tyler Chang on Saturday, Sept. 29, but fell in the semifinals on Sunday. Mifsud is the first men’s tennis player to reach the semifinals of an ITA Regionals flight and along with senior teammate Cody Heffner became the first players in school history to compete at the event.
