Still developing at the No. 1 singles slot, junior Megan Gardner earns her first career Warrior of the Week award after reaching the quarterfinals of the MAC Individual Championships at the first flight of singles for the second time in her career. A Hughesville Area graduate, Gardner wrapped up a solid 4-3 fall at No. 1 singles for the Warriors, as she notched a first-round win at No. 1 singles, 6-4, 7-5, over Alvernia’s Kayla Morgan. Gardner was a member of the MAC Academic Honor Roll and earned ITA Scholar-Athlete status in her first year with the program in 2010-11.
