After posting the Lycoming men's tennis team's first six-match winning streak in four years, junior Kayvan Shams has earned his second career Warrior of the Week award and his first of the year. Shams posted a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles against Misericordia and teamed with Logan Hammond to post a 6-2 No. 1 doubles win to lead the Warriors in the match with the Cougars.

Shams is 6-0 in singles play and 3-3 in doubles action this season. With a 19-15 singles record, he is a win away from becoming the 21st player in program history to post 20 wins in a career.
