Hitting .364 during the week and throwing six shutout innings with a career-high eight strikeouts in a win over Moravian has helped senior A.J. Llorente earn his second career Warrior of the Week award. The senior was 4-for-9 with two runs and two RBI in the doubleheader with the Greyhounds on Saturday, going 2-for-5 with a run and two RBI in the 14-0 win where he also allowed just two hits in six innings, struck out eight and walked one. He followed that by going 2-for-4 with a run in the second game of the doubleheader.

Llorente is 3-1 with a 3.12 ERA on the mound, sitting second on the team with 27 strikeouts. He leads the team with a .358 batting average and he is third with 23 RBI in 29 games.
