After winning both his singles and doubles matches to help lift Lycoming to its first win since March 2024, sophomore Kayvan Shams has earned his first career Warrior of the Week award. Shams and sophomore partner Logan Hammond teamed up for a 6-1 win at the No. 2 slot to lead the Warriors to the double point against Misericordia and then won No. 3 singles in a 6-2, 6-2 straight-set victory.

Shams is a perfect 3-0 in dual meet action this fall at No. 3 singles and the South Williamsport, Pa., native is 2-1 at No. 2 doubles with Hammond. He led the team with 11 singles wins during his rookie year in 2024-25.
