WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Three pins and a technical fall helped the Lycoming College wrestling team post a 50-5 non-conference win over Gettysburg in a dual meet on Friday, Feb. 14, at Lamade Gym.

The Warriors (12-8 overall) picked up bonus points in eight bouts, as they posted four forfeit wins, three pins and a technical fall, as well as a decision to notch the 50 points. The 12 wins is the most for the Warriors since the team went 13-11 in 2010-11.

Jake Witmer (Sunbury, Pa./Shikellamy) got the Warriors on the board with a first-period pin of Holt Johnson in 57 seconds. Freshman
Seth Lansberry (Klingerstown, Pa./Line Mountain) added a 16-0 technical fall win over Brandon Carcuffe in 5:10 at 149 pounds and freshman 157-pounder
Nolan Barger (Clearfield, Pa./Clearfield Area) won his 10
th straight, with a pin of Collin Furth in 1:08, as he reached 25 wins on the season.

Willie Alford (Easton, Pa./Easton Area)posted two takedowns and a reversal en route to a 7-5 win over Pat Thomas at 174 pounds and junior
Nik Christine (Lewistown, Pa./Indian Valley) finished the meet with a pin of Camden Stoops in 3:40 in the heavyweight match.

The Warriors wrap up their dual meet season on Wednesday, Feb. 19, when they face Stevens at 6 p.m. in Lamade Gymnasium.
